To compliment our calibration service, Direct Instrument Hire also offers a service and repair facility. Any equipment found to be defective or operating incorrectly can be repaired by our technicians.

Simply maintaining accurate records can be a major challenge. Formal quality standards require the traceable calibration of measurement equipment and the removal of equipment from service if the calibration is no longer valid. To record the calibration state accurately, a register of all equipment has to be set up and this in itself can prove to be an expensive proposition. For companies wishing to obtain (or retain) ISO 9000 certification this is an essential starting point.
