Overview
 Before using any equipment, the user must be confident that the equipment being used is accurate, consistent, and performs within the manufacturers stated specification. As a provider of calibration services, Direct Instrument Hire have their own calibration facility where all Master Test Equipment has first generation UKAS calibration certificates. This gives ourselves and our clients the confidence that their kit is functioning correctly.
Complete Package
 Simply maintaining accurate records can be a major challenge. Formal quality standards require the traceable calibration of critical measurement equipment. To record the calibration status accurately, a register of all equipment has to be set up and this in itself can prove to be an expensive proposition. For companies wishing to obtain (or retain) ISO 9001 certification this is an essential starting point.
An increasing number of companies are finding that it is more cost effective to delegate the management of their equipment to a third party company. At Direct Instrument Hire, we specialise in managing a broad range of test and measurement equipment. We have developed our own PC based routines for controlling such systems and have built up a valuable database of knowledge relating to manufacturers and customer requirements. This allows our customers to benefit from our expertise by having their inventory managed for them, saving time and money.
