Troubleshooting

In order to login, or place an order with Direct Instrument Hire, cookies need to be enabled. The cookie will only last as long as your browser window is open. Cookies are required when placing an order to ensure the checkout process goes as smooth as possible. If you find that your basket contents are not being saved then this is most likely the cause of the problem. The following steps are in place as a rough guide of how you can enable cookies:

Mozilla Firefox

• Go to the "Tools" menu.
• Select "Options".
• Select the "Privacy" icon in the left panel.
• Check the box corresponding to "Allow sites to set cookies".
• Click "OK" to save changes

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+

• Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
• Click on the "Privacy" tab.
• Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium") under "Settings".
• Click "OK".
